The patient registry TREATgermany generates current data and opportunities for new insights into the practical management of the chronic skin disease neurodermatitis in Germany. In the future, TREATgermany will contribute to an even better care of people suffering from neurodermatitis.
TREATgermany fulfills all quality requirements for medical registries and thus forms an excellent resource for health services research. Based on a consented European core data set, TREATgermany can support international projects on the efficacy, safety and quality of treatment of neurrodermatitis in association with other European neurodermatitis registries.
The combination of comprehensive clinical information and high-quality biospecimens from TREATgermany offers unique research opportunities and will support biomarker identification and the development of precision medicine for this complex disease.
